House style

House developed in the early 1980s in the United States. The dance direction originated in the underground clubs in Chicago and New York City that were super popular at that time. House focuses on self-expression and freedom of movement, which makes the style so unique. Not many people know it, but house is heavily influenced by such styles as African dance, tap, Latin dance, and even martial arts. The style is particularly popular in Europe, the United States, as well as many other countries all around the globe.
